Everything in our capacity will be done to increase the benefits of this cooperation

The Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia, Mr. Chinbat Namjil, held an official meeting with the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Zühtü Arslan on August 18, 2022.

“In response to the international situation following the pandemic, many issues related to the constitutional law and the protection of the Constitutional Court are emerging from a scientific and knowledge perspective. To address these concerns in this situation, the issues discussed at the 60th anniversary conference of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye, as well as the issues to be discussed during today’s Congress of the AACC, are very important”, said the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia at the beginning of the meeting.

He further noted the significance of the cooperation between the courts for the further development of relations between our two countries and assured that everything in our capacity would be done to increase the benefits of this cooperation.

“Part of the work of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions is the issue of training and human resources development. I am delighted that the Constitutional Court of Türkiye manages the day-to-day activities of the Center dealing with this issue. We support and seek to actively participate in all its activities. In this context, our Secretariat is ready to jointly implement research projects”, said Mr. Chinbat Namjil, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia.

Evaluating the importance of his visit, Mr. Zühtü Arslan said, “I am confident that this visit will further expand and develop the relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Türkiye and the cooperation between the two organizations." He highlighted that the Constitutional Court of Mongolia actively participates in all events organized by the Constitutional Court of Türkiye and in the summer schools conducted by the AACC Center for Training and Human Resources Development.
