BAYASGALAN Gungaa was born in Bayankhongor province, Mongolia

Education:

1981 – Bayankhongor province secondary school

1986 – Law Faculty, Moscow University, Russian Federation

1988 – Law Faculty, University of Delhi, India

Fluent in both Russian and English.

Work Experience:

1986-1991 Investigator, Division prosecutor and Assistant prosecutor at the Prosecutor’s Office of Bayankhongor province.

1991-1999 Supervisory prosecutor, Assistant to the General Prosecutor, Head of division, Advisor to the General Prosecutor at the General Prosecutor’s Office of Mongolia.

1999-2000 Head of Legal Policy Department, Ministry of Justice.

2000-2001 State Secretary, Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs.

2001-2005 Legal Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia.

2006-2012 State Secretary, Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs.

2012-2016 CEO, “Partners Forever” LLC.

2016-2018 State Secretary, Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs.

2018-2019 First Deputy Chief, Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of Mongolia.

Since 2019 –  Justice /member/ of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia
